Robin Sommer (23), nicknamed 'Bin', was born in Rotterdam. When he moved to study at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (an art academy) in Amsterdam, he got to know the city, it's nightlife and it's electronic music. Before all this he played in a band as a drummer. He started dj-ing when he was 19 and began to play in front of an audience in Studio 80 where he worked at the time. Soon he became a resident and took Amsterdam by storm.

BIN -in capitals- played on various parties (BAF, M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I., Queensday at Westermarkt, Million Dollar Kids, Boycott, F*cking Pop Queers), and in various clubs besides names like Apparat, Patrice Baumel, Joost van Bellen, Wannabeastar, Fanklub Deejays, Olene Kadar, Round Table Knights, Fraulein Z.

BIN likes: Format: B, The Hacker, ADULT., Gaiser, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Marc Houle, Len Faki, Anthony Rother, Heartthrob, The Knife.

He currently is a resident of the bi-monthly BAF parties in Trouw and a resident of Katapult at Studio 80. He also started producing and hopes he can conquer the world someday. BIN got nominated for a 'Gouden Kabouter Award' (Golden Gnome Awards, 'Best new Dj') in 2010.
