In search of cutting edge music that pushes the boundaries of the electronic spectre, they proudly present their latest lovechild: NGHTDVSN. Where else to launch this then Paradiso, Holland’s most legendary venue. Its historical value is unprecedented in Amsterdam’s nightlife, with a history of memorable performances from Nirvana, Rolling Stones and many other iconic bands. On offer, one of the fastest rising stars in the scene today: Max Cooper. This UK based scientist annex producer is the living proof that these very diverse lifestyles can be effortless combined live on the dance floor. After a string of well received EP’s and remixes on respected labels such as Traum Schallplatten and veryverywrongindeed, he can now add people like John Digweed, Dubfire, Gui Boratto, Hot Chip and the NGHTDVSN crew to his fans. His music is an amalgamation of techno, house, electro and minimal and is best described as highly emotional electronica. Olivier has been responsible for ripping dance floors with his melodic and tech fuelled sets all over the place and will prove once more that he’s here to stay. Opening honours will be for Next Monday’s Hangover resident Some Chemistry, a fresh face to the scene with his deep and uncompromising electronic sounds. The second area of the Paradiso will have a housier approach with one of the most in demand export products from Germany headlining the top floor: Ruede Hagelstein. This Berlin based producer has been making waves since his release of last summer’s anthem Emergency and with his debut album release Soft Pack a few weeks ago he definitely is the perfect choice for this evening. 23:00 05:00 | Isis laat haar 20-jarig jubileum van start gaan met een bijzondere avond in Paradiso. Onder de vleugels van haar organisatie ‘All is One’ wordt Paradiso omgetoverd tot een letterlijke discotheek. Gedurende de hele avond zal Isis een solo set weggeven in de grote zaal waarbij twintig jaar dansmuziekgeschiedenis de revue passeert. Daarnaast vinden er in de loop van de nacht, verspreid door de verschillende zalen, allerlei optredens plaats van collega’s die een belangrijke rol spelen in haar muzikale carrière, zoals Arjuna Schiks en Egbert Jan Weeber. Haar leermeester Dimitri mag natuurlijk niet ontbreken. In ’92 was het immers deze godfather der Nederlands dj's die haar ontdekte en inspireerde. Naast de verschillende optredens zullen er ook performance acts worden opgevoerd door bevriende kunstenaars en musici. Om het feest compleet te maken luidt Isis om exact 00:00 uur een nieuw levensjaar in, op spectaculaire wijze zal er stil worden gestaan bij haar verjaardag. Wil je nog eens lekker genieten van de juweeltjes van toen of was je te jong om dit in levende lijve te ervaren of ben je juist benieuwd wat er tegenwoordig muzikaal speelt in de wereld van Isis?
